The phantom-powered preamp features a switchable low-cut filter to attenuate problematic bass frequencies such as rumble and a standard XLR 3-pin output for straightforward connectivity.Outfitted with a Class-A, discrete, transformerless preamplifier, the VP89S delivers a clean and quick transient response with minimal harmonic/intermodulation distortion and no crossover distortion. Long and medium-sized capsule barrels are available separately to suit various recording needs, rejection angles, and frequency responses.
