Bodywork & Design GASGAS gives the TXT RACING 250 a fresh new look, featuring slim, ergonomic bodywork and bold graphics. The plastics use a flexible polypropylene blend that bends during impacts and returns to shape, meaning they’re both durable and forgiving. The airbox is cleverly designed to hold a Twin Air filter and allows for quick, one-bolt filter access. Chassis & Handling Built on a lightweight tubular steel frame, the TXT RACING 250 weighs in with excellent rider feedback and strength where it counts. Its silver CNC-machined triple clamps deliver front-end stability, while the 39 mm low-friction TECH forks and TECH rear shock provide adjustable preload, rebound, and compression. As a result, the suspension remains responsive and tuned for technical trials work. The single-piece cast-aluminium swingarm adds stiffness and strength without excess weight. Engine & Drive The compact 247.7 cc 2-stroke powerplant is engineered for responsive, precise delivery. A die-cast aluminium cylinder head helps efficient coolant flow, while a high-performance forged piston ensures torque across the rev range. The 28 mm Keihin PWK carburetor supports smooth fueling, and the 6-speed transmission with a 4/6 internal system keeps the bike compact and weight down. The balanced crankshaft improves inertia, contributing to controllable throttle response and strong traction. Clutch, Exhaust & Brakes The TXT RACING 250 features a light, one-finger BraKtec hydraulic clutch with Kevlar plates for smooth engagement. A stainless-steel front pipe paired with a rear silencer offers durable, lightweight exhaust performance. Braking power comes from a 185 mm wave front disc with a four-piston BraKtec calliper, and a 150 mm rear disc with a two-piston calliper — giving precise stopping control even on challenging sections. Comfort & Fit Neken handlebars with Renthal grips combine strength and comfort, while the galvanized footpegs improve grip for standing or climbing.
